A woman is dead and several others injured after two cars collided Saturday night on a notorious Staten Island stretch.
Police say a 2005 Pontiac G6 collided with a 2009 Mercedes Benz on Hylan Boulevard in Grasmere shortly before 9 p.m.
The Pontiac was trying to make a left turn onto Steuben Street when the cars crashed.
The Mercedes' driver and three passengers were all taken to the hospital where an 82-year-old passenger was pronounced dead.
The other driver and passengers are listed in stable condition.
Police say no criminal charges will be filed.
