Staten Islanders rocked out Saturday night to benefit an Iraq war vet who lost his arms and legs in a roadside bombing.
Actor Gary Sinise and his Lieutenant Dan Band were among the performers at a concert at the St. George Theater for Army specialist Brendan Marrocco.
The event raised money to build an adapted home for Marrocco, who was injured on Easter Sunday 2009.
Marrocco is the only soldier to lose all four limbs in combat in Iraq or Afghanistan
He says he's humbled by the outpouring of support.
"I understand what my story does and how it helps people, but like I said, I still don't consider myself a hero, definitely the heroes are the ones that didn't get to come home," Marrocco said.
The concert was put together by the Stephen Siller Children's Foundation and Building Homes for Heroes.
