Staten Island Chuck the groundhog celebrated his accuracy at predicting spring's arrival on Wednesday.

The accurate rodent was out and about at the Staten Island Zoo in West Brighton, enjoying the warm weather.

Back on Groundhog Day last month, he correctly predicted that spring would come early, while his counterpart in Punxsutawney, Pa. said winter would hang around.

Staten Island children told NY1 that they were excited about spring's arrival.

"I like to play in the park and I like to watch the flowers grow," said one child.

"I'm looking for flowers and vegetables," said another.

Spring officially begins on Saturday.
