A new movie with a hot love triangle, "Me And Orson Welles," is set to open in the Big Apple this Thanksgiving weekend, but first it was presented by the Cinema Society at the Chelsea Clearview Cinema.

The movie is the story of the founding of the Mercury Theatre company by Orson Welles and a Shakespeare production that they put on at the beginning of his career.

Claire Danes stars as a woman in the middle of a love triangle between a younger actor and the older Welles.

"My character in the end is not so interested in the man in the end. That's what makes her desirable to others, I guess," says Danes. "She's very ambitious and her career is her main focus, 'her man,' so to speak."

Welles is portrayed by Christian McKay.

George Whipple: Love triangle!

McKay: Yes, well, I have so many beautiful women in this film, more than James Bond. So you can imagine I was absolutely thrilled. It has ruined me for the future, you know. When I go back to the stage in England, I'll be saying, 'Where are the beautiful stunning ladies around?' And it will be a question of 'Get your own coffee, too.'"

The other man is a very talented superstar, Zac Efron.

Whipple: Older women interesting to you?

Efron: Oh, absolutely, of course.

Whipple: Why is that?

Efron: I'm not sure why. It's probably experience, yeah.

Whipple: Something to say?

Efron: Something to say, yeah. Yeah!

Welles is perhaps best-known for directing the films "Citizen Kane," "The Magnificent Ambersons" and "A Touch Of Evil," but he was also famous for his work in radio and theater. His beloved Mercury Theatre company worked at 110 West 41st Street, where a plaque in Welles's honor remains today.
