NewYork-Presbyterian ranks as the number one hospital in the city for the 11th year in a row.
In U.S. News and World Report's annual list of best hospitals in the country, NewYork-Presbyterian is nationally ranked at number six and number one for the metro area.
Just 17 hospitals made the prestigious list out of the nearly 5,000 that were evaluated for the Best Hospital Honor Roll.
The rankings are based on excellence in multiple areas of care.
Mount Sinai Medical Center also made the Best Hospital Honor Roll.
Johns Hopkins in Baltimore took the top spot as the best hospital in the country.
