Police are looking for three men they say have robbed more than a dozen drivers around the city, usually by telling their victims they have flat tires.

Two of the men were caught on surveillance video.

The New York City Police Department says the three suspects have carried out 16 thefts since August, with the majority of them taking place in Queens.

In most of the incidents, police say one man will tell a person they have a flat tire and when the person goes to look at the damage, the other men steal items from the car.

The most recent robbery happened last Wednesday near Withers Street and Union Avenue in Brooklyn.

Anyone with information on the case should contact the Crime Stoppers hotline at 1-800-577-TIPS, or text CRIMES and then enter TIP577, or visit www.nypdcrimestoppers.com.
