Police are still looking for more than a dozen suspects, after a big drug bust on Staten Island ended in 41 arrests Wednesday.
The arrests were made in Mariners Harbor as part of a 10-month investigation.
Police say undercover detectives bought cocaine, crack, marijuana and three guns.
The operation is a partnership between the New York City Police Department's Staten Island Narcotics Bureau and District Attorney Dan Donovan's office.
Investigators say most of their tips came from members of the community.
"The community has to get involved. It's the only way things are going to get done around here," said one Mariners Harbor resident.
"They get so frustrated so they don't know what to do and we're grateful that people call the police. We encourage them to call the police. They don't have to give their name. They don't have to give a call-back number," Donovan said.
Donovan is currently running for New York State Attorney General.
